Frequently Asked Question

When you log on you to MCAS will be presented with the following dashboard:

Each of the coloured boxes are called Widgets and they show information about your child at school.

• Attendance shows if your child has been registered for AM and PM and class registers.
• Classes shows you the classes your child is in and the name of their teachers.
• Announcements will show messages from the school that relate to your child.
• Important Documents will be used to publish useful or important information from the school.
• Detentions will show and upcoming and recent detentions.
• Reports will show reports that have been written by your child’s class teacher.
• Behaviour will show recent positive and negative behaviour.
• Dinner Money will show current balance and allow you quickly top up.

You can get more information from each of the Widgets by clicking on the More button.

The Widget options can also be opened from the Menu Bar on the left-hand side of the page.

Please note, some options are only available on the Menu Bar and are not displayed as Widgets.
